I have been doing triathlons for 10 years and started coaching in 2015. I discovered coaching is a passion of mine. I love to see athletes improve, and gain confidence as well as fitness.
I have done every distance from supersprint to Ironman, and can help you with your journey to your race. I am a BTF level 2 diploma coach and a Level 1 TrainingPeaks Coach. I am also a STA Open Water Swimming coach.

"Hilary genuinely wants you to do well and wants to make a plan you can work with and achieve the best out of for yourself. She is incredibly supportive and flexible and really listens to your needs. " Thea Lillis
"Hilary has provided amazing support to me over the last 4 months as I’ve built up to my long held ambition of completing a full distance ironman. I’m someone who has always been sceptical of the merits of having a coach as an amateur, on the basis that a lot of training plans and advice can be found online. However, I’m now very much converted to the idea! What I’ve realised is the structure, accountability and sounding board that comes from having a coach is worth every penny.
I’ve had some injury struggles along the way and Hilary was able to regularly adapt my training plan on the Training Peaks platform to ensure I was maintaining my fitness levels while avoiding aggravating the problems I was having with my foot. She also tailored the plan around my other commitments including holidays. This ensured I was fit to start the race and then able to complete it in a time of under 13 hours, which exceeded even my best hopes.
Hilary was encouraging, reassuring and very strategic with her advice along the way. She also had lots of practical tips to help me with the logistics of training and race day. I’d thoroughly recommend Hilary to anyone making the leap to full distance triathlon or if you are earlier on in your triathlon journey and want someone who will help you meet your goal of completing your first race of any distance or just building up your multi-sport fitness." - Liam Tollington
